About the role
Processing and closing are where loans stall. You have chased the missing statement, untangled the title issue, and got the file funded on time anyway. Here you design how agents do that work, from the first conditions list to the wire.
What you will do
- Map how a file really moves from submission to funding, including every place it gets stuck
- Teach the agents to build and clear conditions lists, order third-party items, and prepare closing packages
- Set the standard for what a complete, lender-ready file looks like
- Work beside customer teams as they move live files through the product
- Measure where time goes and remove the steps no one should be doing
What you bring
- Five or more years in non-QM processing, closing, or both
- Working knowledge of title, escrow, appraisal management, and lender closing departments
- A habit of building checklists and systems that other people actually use
- Calm under a funding deadline
- Curiosity about automation, and strong opinions about where it goes wrong
Working with the agents
The agents do the chasing, sorting, and assembling. You decide what good looks like and catch the cases they should not handle alone.
